Q: What destinations does WestJet Vacations offer with Swoop flight options?
A: WestJet Vacations packages with Swoop flight options are available from all Swoop Canadian gateways to the following destinations:
- Mexico: Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Los Cabos
- Jamaica: Montego Bay
- Dominican Republic: Punta Cana
- Cuba: Varadero
- United States: Las Vegas

Q: How do I book my clients a WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights?
A: WestJet Vacations packages with Swoop flight options will be offered online via Soft Voyage or SIREV/REVNET.
Q: What is the airline code for Swoop?
A: The airline code for Swoop is WO.
Q: Can I book my clients with Swoop flights in one direction and WestJet flights in the other?
A: No, not at this time, if you select one WestJet flight and one Swoop flight you will receive an error message in Soft Voyage or SIREV and will have to restart your search.
Q: My clients speak French, can they expect to receive inflight service in French while travelling with Swoop?
A: No, Swoop does not fly anywhere with bilingual requirements and therefore does not offer French on board, within emails, on their website or when booking extras.
Q: My clients want to travel with an infant for their WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flights?
A: No problem, guests can travel on Swoop with their infant, a fee of $50 will apply to add an infant on an existing WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flights (international destinations only). When you call to add a lap-held infant to WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flight please advise our agents to add the infant to the pnr. There will be a small fee for a lap-held infant fee, for international destinations only.

A: WestJet Vacations has more than 850 hotels and resorts to choose from. Your clients can select any available hotel or resort offered by WestJet Vacations as well as add private transfers along with their Swoop flight option.

Q: Can my clients add private transfers to their WestJet Vacations package if they select Swoop flights?
A: Yes, your clients can add private transfers to their package in any destination where they are offered by WestJet Vacations.
Q: Can my clients check-in online if they have purchased a WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flights?
A: Yes, your clients will be eligible for check-in online within 24 hours of departure at flyswoop.com and will receive an electronic boarding pass. Your client’s Swoop reservation code can be found on their WestJet Vacations email confirmation.
Q: Can my clients add the WestJet Vacations exclusive AMResorts Indulgence package to their WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flights? et Vacations package with Swoop flights?
A: No, the WestJet Vacations AMResorts Indulgence package is not applicable to WestJet Vacation packages with Swoop flights.

Q: Do my clients have the same bag allowance with Swoop flight options vs. WestJet flight options?
A: As part of their WestJet Vacations baggage allowance, your clients will receive one free personal item and carry-on bag whether they choose a WestJet flight or a Swoop flight. There is an additional charge for checked bags.
NOTE: Your clients will be able to purchase bags and seats from Flyswoop.com immediately after booking. Baggage fees will vary based on the time at which it is purchased. Q: Are my clients eligible for seat selection if they purchase a WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flights?
A: Yes, you or your clients can purchase seats using manage my booking at flyswoop.com. If your clients do not opt to purchase a seat before their departure, they will be randomly assigned a seat during check-in. For complete details, visit Swoop seat selection.
Q: What is the Swoop seat pitch when my clients choose a WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flight?
A: Your clients seats will have a 29-36″ pitch with a 17” width
Q: If my clients are travelling with children, are they eligible for free seat selection if they purchase a WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flights?
A: Yes, your clients, when travelling with children under the age of 14, can select seats up to 24 hours prior to departure. If an adult purchases a seat in the family zone (row 18-32), children will get to select their seat for free in close proximity to the adult they are traveling with. Service
Q: Will my clients get the same onboard services with a WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flight options?
A: Swoop is an ultra-low-cost carrier, which means that your clients will need to pay for a customized experience. There is no inflight entertainment, but your clients can pay for Wi-Fi or download some entertainment to their device so they can watch or listen while offline. This is one of the ways Swoop keeps fares ultra-low.
Swoop does not offer complimentary food or beverage on board their flights, including water. View Swoop’s onboard menu. Swoop operates a cashless cabin (so your clients will need to have a credit card for purchases). Your clients can pay for extras using: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club or Discover. Please note they do not accept debit or pre-paid cards on board.

WestJet Rewards
Q: If my clients are WestJet Rewards members, can they earn WestJet dollars and or credit towards Qualifying Spend towards their tier when booking a WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flight options?
A: No, the WestJet Rewards members will not be eligible to:
- Earn Qualifying spend towards their tier (20% of the member’s base package price for eligible WestJet Vacations packages completed.
- Earn WestJet dollars for the base package price of their WestJet Vacations package.
Q: If my clients have WestJet dollars, can they redeem them towards booking a WestJet Vacations package with Swoop flight options?
A: Yes, your client can redeem WestJet dollars towards the base package price of their WestJet Vacations package that includes a Swoop flight.
WestJet Vacations Travel Protection Plan
Q: Can my clients purchase the WestJet Vacations Travel Protection Plan when selecting Swoop flight options?
A: Yes, clients will be eligible for Travel Protection Plan coverage during the booking process.
Q: What is the WestJet Vacations Travel Protection Plan?
A: Our WestJet Vacations Travel Protection Plan allows for increased flexibility with changes and cancellations and provides peace of mind for your clients. The Travel Protection Plan is available for WestJet Vacations destinations in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean and is commissionable to you.
Q: What happens if I purchased the Travel Protection Plan for my client’s WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights? A: Our WestJet Vacations Travel Protection Plan offers you and your clients increased flexibility for changes and cancellations. Baggage
Q: My clients have a WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard, will they receive a free checked bag with a WestJet Vacations package when they select Swoop flights?
A: No, WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard cardholders will not be eligible to receive a free checked bag when they book a WestJet Vacations package with a Swoop flight. This credit card benefit is only available when your clients book a WestJet Vacations package with WestJet flights.
Q: My clients have a WestJet Rewards Silver, Gold or Platinum status, will they receive a free checked bag with a WestJet Vacations package when they select Swoop flights?
A: No, WestJet Rewards members with tier status are not eligible to receive a free checked bag when they book a WestJet Vacations package with a Swoop flight. These tier benefits are only available when your clients book a WestJet Vacations package with WestJet flights.
Q: My client’s baggage was delayed lost or damaged while they were travelling on Swoop flights? What is the process to seek compensation or support?
A: Delayed or missing baggage must be reported to Swoop within 21 days of your flight’s arrival. To report a missing bag or if your clients discover there are items missing from their bag, please contact Swoop immediately to create a report online at Swoop service disruptions.
Damaged-If any of your client’s bags and/or contents were damaged on a Swoop flight, your client must report the damages within seven days of their flight’s arrival. Please ask them to return to the airport with their damaged bag for assessment. For complete details, visit Swoop baggage.
Cancellations and Changes
Q: What happens if my client wants to cancel their WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights? A: WestJet Vacations Terms and Conditions apply. Cancellations can be completed as per current process. Clients are eligible for a full refund to their original form of payment if cancelled within 24 hours of booking. Q: Will my clients get a refund for the extras that they purchased if they need to cancel their WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights? A: All Swoop extras, such as seats and baggage are refundable to original form of payment within 3 hours of departing flight time.
Q: What happens if my clients want to change their WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights? A: Changes to bookings will require a call to the WestJet Vacations Contact Centre and WestJet Vacations terms and conditions will apply.
Q: What happens if I need to make a name change on behalf of my client when they’ve booked a WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights? A: WestJet Vacations terms and conditions apply. If you purchased a Travel Protection Plan on behalf of your client(s), you can take advantage of a one-time fee waiver to process the name change. Q: What happens if my client ‘no shows’ at time of check-in when they’ve booked a WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights? A: No Shows on the departing flight are sent an email confirming their place on the return flight. If they reply ‘no’ or do not reply, their return leg is cancelled. Email is sent to main contact on file. No shows receive no refunds, credits or compensations on hotel stays, transfers, flights or flight extras such as seat selection, checked bags, etc.
Flight disruption/Irregular Operations (IROP)
Q: What happens if my clients Swoop flight(s) are disrupted or experience an Irregular Operation (IROP)? A: The WestJet Vacations Irregular Operations (IROP) policy and processes apply. In the event of an IROP, WestJet will attempt to notify your client of the changes by using the email address used at time of booking. As a reminder, please ensure you are adding SST CTCE contact details to ensure your clients can be notified of close-in changes. You are also responsible for notifying your client of changes.

A: Commission is paid 30 days after the booking has been ticketed.
Q: When is commission settlement on a WestJet Vacations booking with Swoop flights?
A: Commission settlement is the same as regular WestJet Vacations packages; commission is settled once a booking has been paid in full as per WestJet Vacations terms and conditions. WestJet Vacations does not accept overpayments.
Insurance claims
Q: Can my client claim insurance on a WestJet Vacations with Swoop flights?
