We sincerely apologize to our guests and partners who have been impacted by cancellations and delays as a result of severe winter weather affecting our operations throughout Canada. We understand the frustration and disappointment this has caused.

Due to the ongoing weather warnings and prolonged forecasted weather events for regions across our network, we are allowing flexible changes and cancellations for WestJet Vacations.

Change terms and conditions

  • For packages with a departure date between December 18, 2022 and December 28, 2022.
  • Changes must be requested on/before December 28, 2022.

If your clients would like to change their package, please call the WestJet Vacations team at 1-877-664-3205.

Please note that call centre wait times are extremely high as we work to reaccommodate guests. There is very limited reaccommodation availability due to high demand for travel this time of year and the significant impact across the industry.

Cancel terms and conditions

  • For packages with a departure date between December 18, 2022 and December 28, 2022.
  • Cancel fees are waived.
  • Cancel value will be set up in WestJet dollars for the full value of the package (including Travel Protection Plan, if applicable).
  • Commission will not be recalled.

To cancel your client’s package, please fill out the refund request form here. To ensure the request is properly completed:

  • Please fill out all relevant fields within the form. 
  • The guest name and email address must match the WestJet Rewards ID on the package booking.
  • All guests on the package booking must be noted on the form under the “additional guest” section.

We encourage your clients to reach out to their insurance provider or credit card company to determine if their package is covered by insurance.
