IMPORTANT UPDATE:

For all WestJet Vacations packages and land-only bookings that have a departure date before May 1, 2023, final payment is due 25 days prior to departure.

For all WestJet Vacations packages and land-only bookings that have a departure date on or after May 1, 2023, final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.

Payment

WestJet Vacations accepts American Express®, Mastercard®, Visa® and Visa Debit®, and the WestJet gift card. WestJet dollars can be used towards payment of the base price of an eligible WestJet Vacations package and land-only booking available through WestJet’s Contact Centre. WestJet dollars cannot be applied against taxes, fees or charges and can only be used for new bookings. WestJet Vacations does not accept overpayment on files.


Bookings

WestJet Vacations products are available to book through Sirev and Revnet, offering you a self-serve option to sell WestJet Vacations packages and hotels to your clients.

Travel before May 1, 2023: When you sell a WestJet Vacations package or land-only booking you can secure the booking with only a deposit of $250 per person (up to 25 days before departure), with final payments due no later than 25 days before your client’s departure. Your commission will be settled 5 to 7 days after the final payment has been received.

Travel on or after May 1, 2023: When you sell a WestJet Vacations package or land-only booking you can secure the booking with only a deposit of $250 per person (up to 45 days before departure), with final payments due no later than 45 days before your client’s departure. Your commission will be settled 5 to 7 days after the final payment has been received.

REMINDER: we will pay commission on the full value of rebooked packages booked up to September 30, 2022, where WestJet COVID-19 dollars are being redeemed. Provided the WestJet dollars being applied were from a COVID-19 related package cancellation. COVID-19 dollars have a one-time exception to be applied against taxes, fees, or charges.  A minimum redemption amount of 50 WestJet dollars per booking applies for WestJet Vacations package bookings.

  • Applies to vacation packages or for land-only bookings, before the first check-in at the hotel
  • Changes will be rebooked at current prices at the time of the change
  • Changes are subject to applicable supplier rates, charges and change fees
  • Change of property is subject to the WestJet Vacations change fee
  • Vacation packages booked with Premium or Business fares will not be charged the WestJet Vacations change fee
  • One name change is permitted for a fee of $100 + GST at least 21 days or more before departure
  • Single occupancy name changes are not permitted

Terms and conditions

  1. Applies to vacation packages or for land-only bookings, before the first check-in at the hotel
  2. Excludes WestJet Vacations Group bookings
  3. All park tickets, excursions, and other activities are 100% non-refundable after the 24-hour cancellation window
  4. Unless otherwise specified, hotel rooms marked as non-refundable are 100% non-refundable at any time
  5. Hotel and other suppliers may have cancellation fees that will apply at the time of cancellation
  6. For bookings travelling before May 1, 2023 (regardless of date booked):
  7. Round-trip Premium fares or Business fares will not be charged the cancellation fee and or the deposit will be refunded, if cancelled 25 days or more from departure date
  8. For bookings travelling on or after May 1, 2023 (regardless of date booked):
  9. Round-trip Premium fares or Business fares will not be charged the cancellation fee and or the deposit will be refunded, if cancelled 45 days or more from departure date
