Japan Airlines partnership expansion

In November 2022, WestJet code was placed on Japan Airlines-operated flights between Vancouver and Narita International Airport in Tokyo. To provide guests with more options, we continue to make additional destinations beyond Tokyo available through our partnership with Japan Airlines.

The following destinations beyond Tokyo-Narita are accessible by connecting through a wholly Japan Airlines-operated flight or through the WestJet-operated Calgary-Tokyo flight.

Code-share partnership with KLM – London Heathrow

We’re pleased to share we have reinstated the placement of WestJet code on KLM flights between London Heathrow (LHR) and Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport (AMS). Flights are available for sale now, with the first flight operating on September 24, 2023.


May 2023

WestJet Premium available on Delta-operated flights

Our existing code-share agreement with Delta has been expanded to allow you to book a Premium or PremiumFlex fare bundle on WestJet-marketed, Delta-operated (WS*DL) flights.  Your clients will be seated in the Premium cabin on the WestJet-operated segment and in the First-Class cabin on the Delta-operated flight. WestJet Premium and Delta’s First-Class experience share many similarities including more spacious seating, priority boarding and complimentary food and beverages. Seat selection is included in the fare.


February 2023

More WestJet code on Delta-operated flights

Following the expansion of our own U.S. network, we’ve furthered our reach with an enhancement to our existing codeshare with Delta. Building on our current service to Delta hubs including Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York and Seattle, our new non-stop service to Minneapolis and Detroit provides your clients connecting through these destinations access to two more of Delta’s major hubs. WestJet guests now have access to over 150 U.S. destinations through our partnership.
