As WestJet continues to strengthen its position as Canada’s leading low-cost airline and vacations provider, the airline is advancing its talented leadership team with the enhancement of Jorge Rozo’s leadership portfolio to now include the airline’s Distribution team and strategy.
Guided by Rozo’s leadership, WestJet is strategically aligning its revenue management, pricing, ancillary services, and distribution strategies to unlock synergies throughout the organization, enabling a more cohesive approach to offer and order management. By evolving its distribution capabilities, WestJet aims to continue delivering enhanced value to both partners and guests.
“With more than eight years of dedicated service at WestJet, Jorge’s experience will play a key role in the evolution of the airline’s retail strategy,” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer. “Jorge is an enthusiastic leader, has a proven track record and understands the intricacies of revenue, pricing and distribution in aviation. We look forward to his continued leadership and contribution as we redefine this critical part of our business.”
Continuing to report to John Weatherill, Rozo will play a key role in building new relationships and enhancing existing partnerships and channels to drive growth and optimize revenue across the organization, propelling WestJet forward as a low-cost, leading leisure carrier.
