We are pleased to announce we have collaborated with the State of Hawaii to begin offering a pre-flight COVID-19 testing program for guests travelling to the islands. A negative test result from WestJet laboratory partner DynaLIFE is required within 72-hours of departure to Hawaii and will exempt the guest from the state’s required 14-day quarantine upon arrival.
Who can participate:
DynaLIFE testing is currently only available in Alberta, but is open to all Canadian residents holding a WestJet ticketed itinerary and departing to Hawaii within 72 hours.
Guests departing from other Canadian destinations may include a stop in Alberta on their way to Hawaii if they wish to participate in the program. Guests departing from Alberta and connecting through Vancouver will also be eligible, provided the test has been completed within 72 hours of departure to Hawaii.
Testing is not required for children under five.
The test is $150 per person, payable by the guest, at participating pharmacies in Alberta.

Once the guest enters the testing registration path, they will see a list of all participating pharmacies and locations.
To avoid quarantine, each adult guest must set up a Safe Travels Hawaii account at https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/ and take a test at a DynaLIFE participating pharmacy location within 72 hours of their flight departing to Hawaii.
They must then complete the travel health questionnaire on Safe Travels within 24 hours of the flight to receive a personalized QR code that they must present, along with their negative test result, before boarding and upon arrival into Hawaii.
Travellers wishing to bypass the 14-day mandatory quarantine must have their COVID-19 test results prior to departure for the State of Hawaii.
If test results are not available before boarding the final leg of the trip, the traveller must quarantine for 14 days or the length of the stay, whichever is shorter.
Please note that all guests travelling to Hawaii are required to have completed the Safe Travels form and have a personalized QR code to present at boarding and upon arrival, regardless of the intent to complete the COVID-19 testing process.
