Updated refund policy for travel to/from Asia

August 16, 2023

As of August 16, we’re updating our refund policy for guests travelling on Premium or Business fares to and from Asia. The new policy applies to all tickets issued on WS 838 ticket stock, including journeys that contain interline and code-share segments.

If your clients booked a Premium or Business fare to or from Asia on or after August 16, 2023 and they choose to cancel, they will be charged a cancellation fee and the remainder may be returned to the original form of payment. Alternatively, your client may still choose to keep the ticket in open status for 13 months and rebook at a later date for a fee.

Any tickets issued on or before August 15, 2023 will follow the previous fare rules; if your clients chose to cancel their flight, ticket will remain in open status for 13 months from the date of the outbound flight and they may rebook for a fee. PremiumFlex and BusinessFlex fares for travel to and from Asia also remain unchanged and continue to be refundable to the original form of payment for no fee.

Please note that this change only applies to eligible fares to and from Asia. The refund guidelines for travel to all other regions remains the same.
