To guarantee that their flight schedule between Paris (CDG) and Athens (ATH) runs smoothly during the summer season, Air France has chosen to operate this route with a partner airline.
As WestJet does not yet have approvals to place code on this AF partner operated flight, Air France has proactively moved all impacted guests to the Air France prime flight. If your client is travelling on an impacted flight, you will need to accept the change and reissue the new ticket.
To do so, please follow the steps in our schedule change policy.
Please note:
- WestJet code will be removed from ATH-CDG for the summer season (April 14, 2023 – October 28, 2023).
- WestJet will maintain code on CDG-ATH from July 8, 2023 – August 27, 2023.
- As a result, there may not be a WS* alternative to which you can move your clients.
If your client doesn’t accept the schedule change, you may rebook for them. However, standard fare rules will apply.
The CDG-ATH flight is being operated on a single-cabin aircraft. If your client purchased a ticket to be seated in Premium or Business, they may be eligible for a partial refund. You may submit a downgrade refund request on behalf of your client, or they may self-serve here: Cabin downgrade refund request.
