COVID-19 Travel Insurance
Let your clients know to download the WestJet app before their flight to limit contact with surfaces throughout their travel journey. Digital enhancements include:
- Flight check-in and electronic boarding pass
- Touchless bag tagging at select airports
- Access to WestJet Connect to view onboard menus and inflight entertainment
Aircraft cleaning and sanitization
We’ve increased the frequency of our cleaning and sanitization measures, and implemented technologies like fogging, killing up to 99.99% of all viruses and bacteria. Other hygienic measures include:
- Airport safety; health screening and temperature checks
- Enhanced aircraft cleaning and sanitization on all touch points in the cabin
- Aircraft fogging
- Industry-leading air circulation system containing hospital-grade HEPA filter
- Mandatory requirement for guests to wear masks at the airport and inflight
- Disinfectant wipes provided onboard
