WestJet today, announced new service connecting Regina and Minneapolis as part of the airline’s 2024 summer schedule, reaffirming the airline’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful, popular connectivity to the province. Further enhancing Saskatchewan’s aviation pipeline, the new year-round route unlocks the province’s second direct route to the Midwest United States and beyond, following WestJet’s sustained year-round service between Saskatoon and Minneapolis, announced last year.

“We are thrilled to further our commitment to Saskatchewan, bringing vital transborder connectivity to Regina with the addition of service to Minneapolis this summer, creating a new direct link for economic development and tourism between Regina and the United States,” says Andrew Gibbons, WestJet, Vice-President External Affairs. “As we accelerate upon our commitment of providing affordable travel to our guests, our newest investment in Saskatchewan will further support the economic growth of the province and unlocks new business and leisure travel opportunities.”
