Important updates effective January 1, 2022

As of January 1, 2022, we have updated our schedule change criteria, refund commission guidelines and ticket validity policy.

Schedule change criteria
Our schedule change criteria for WestJet and WestJet Vacations has been updated to 181 minutes or more from original departure/arrival for changes and refunds to be permitted.

Refund submissions
Refund submissions for WestJet and WestJet Vacations will follow standard commission recall guidelines.

Ticket validity policy
For all open status tickets with flight commencement dates on or after January 1, 2022, our standard 13-month expiration will apply. For WestJet Vacations, our standard 12-month expiration from the date of cancellation will apply.
