IATA-TIESS to be discontinued as of May 1, 2020

IATA (International Air Transport Association) has communicated today, that as of April 30, 2020, IATA will discontinue the TIESS (Travel Industry Exchange Settlement Solutions) settlement system.

WestJet is aware of this change and is actively working with IATA on a replacement solution. You can continue to book WestJet with full confidence as we progressively work with IATA on this solution as per their mandated date of May 1, 2020. You will continue to receive applicable commissions on any bookings made.

This IATA change only applies to users who currently receive settlements via TIESS. GDS bookings are not impacted and commission settlements will remain in BSPLink.
