Travel agents can self-serve their client’s WestJet Vacations reservation post-booking through Manage trips on westjet.com. The following options are now available in Manage trips:

  • Add client information
  • Add select Special Service Request (SSR) codes for air-only
  • Pre-pay for the first and second chargeable bag
  • Seat selection

By accessing these options in Manage trips, it offers the convenience of adding your client’s travel information while also being able to pre-pay for bags and select seats enhancing your client’s travel experience by making the check-in process easier.

Add WestJet Rewards ID to WestJet Vacations Package

Add client information in Manage trips

  • Visit westjet.com and select “Manage trips” from the menu bar, then select “Manage flights”
  • Enter the flight PNR code and Last name of the guest
    (The PNR is the 6 letter/alpha code)
  • Select the “Search” button
  • Select the “Guest info” tab to add/update passport details, Redress number, Canadian Travel number and choose from a select number of accessibility SSR codes
  • Input all relevant fields with your client’s information

  • Visit westjet.com and select “Manage trips” from the menu bar, then select “Manage vacation packages”
  • Enter the WestJet Vacations Booking number (7-digit numerical), the Departure date and Last name and select “Get itinerary” and the WestJet Vacations eDocs will appear

Add baggage in Manage trips

  • Visit westjet.com and select “Manage trips” from the menu bar, then select “Manage flights”
  • Enter the flight PNR code and Last name of the guest
    (The PNR is the 6 letter/alpha code)
  • Select the “Search” button
  • Under Upcoming trips, select the “Add bags” tab
  • Select the “+” to add up to two chargeable bags per guest on the reservation
  • The total price for the bags will populate and will display in the Price summary
  • Select the “acknowledgement checkbox” and proceed to checkout

Select seats in Manage trips

  • Visit westjet.com and select “Manage trips” from the menu bar, then select “Manage flights”
  • Enter the flight PNR code and Last name of the guest
    (The PNR is the 6 letter/alpha code)
  • Select the “Search” button
  • Under Upcoming trips, select the “Select seats” tab
  • Use the seat map to select your client’s preferred seat and your shopping cart will update with the populated price
  • If your client’s reservation contains more than one flight segment, select “Next flight” to choose seats for the next flight
  • Select “Previous flight” to go back to the first flight segment or select “Continue” to proceed to the payment portal
  • Your Booking summary will display the total amount of the selected seats for the reservation
  • Select the “acknowledgement checkbox” and proceed to checkout

Adding a WestJet Rewards ID post-booking

If you booked a WestJet Vacations package for your client and forgot to include their WestJet Rewards ID, you can still add it post-booking. You will need to add their WestJet Rewards ID in two places: the flight reservation and the WestJet Vacations booking.

When you add your client’s WestJet Rewards ID to their booking, they will receive their tier/credit card benefits for the flight portion (e.g., checked bags, zone boarding) and earn WestJet dollars on their vacation package.

Follow the steps below to add your client’s WestJet Rewards ID post-booking.

STEP 1: Add the WestJet Rewards ID to an existing flight confirmation.

Go to WestJet’s Manage Trips site. From the drop-down list, select “Manage flights.”

In the reservation code field, enter your 6-digit flight confirmation number.

In the last name field, enter your client’s last name.

Click on the search button.

Select the “Edit guest details” tab.

Under “Travel preferences,” select “WestJet” from the Loyalty program drop-down list.

In the member number field, enter your client’s WestJet Rewards ID. The system does a name match validation so if an incorrect number is entered, an error will appear.

Click the “save changes” button.

Please note: This only adds the WestJet Rewards ID to the flight reservation. Once added, your client will receive their tier/credit card benefits for checked baggage, zone boarding, etc. Be sure to also add their WestJet Rewards ID to the booking in REVNET by following the steps below.

STEP 2: Add the WestJet Rewards ID to the WestJet Vacations booking in REVNET.

From the menu, select “Option 10. Display Booking/Apply Payment/ Cancel.”

Enter the booking number.

Enter 5 for the MODIFY REMARK option.

In the AIRLINE field, enter WS. In the TRAVELNO field, enter the WestJet Rewards ID.

Select Enter to continue.

Then, select Q to quit.
